I got distracted and was pointed at Kitematic, but it’s Mac only and so I moved on to Panamax. I am not sure this is for me, but we’ll see and I am still not clear that the answer isn’t shipyard.

This needs vagrant and virtual box. Hmm! The script that installs from the tarball is highly optimised to its preferred file system locations, which would seem to be ${HOME}/.panamax. This won’t make vagrant and virtual box easy to install.

NB Vagrant’s version in the Ubuntu repos is too old. It needs to be installed using curl and dpkg.
