More on Splash Pages

I want a splash screen on this page. See also this post. This article documents my experiments with Kento Splash Screen.

If the short code is before the More line, then it appears on the Home, if after only if one enters the page itself. (So make a tiny article that looks like part of the header and pin it? We now have some PHP, see below/overleaf. )

Tag Clouds in WordPress

Tag Clouds have been bugging me for ages, and I have just installed, WP Category Tag Cloud, which is pretty awesome. I have used the short codes to set up a tag cloud on its own page, and also installed a moving three-D cloud on the About this Wiki page.  The featured picture is a picture generated by tagcloud. Nextscripts: Social Network Autoposter

I had a quick look at Nextscripts: Social Network Auto Poster. It claims to be able to forward posts to other social networks. These include as targets, twitter, linkedin and facebook. The also offer Google+ but that needs an additional library which may be chargeable. I need to work on this a bit more.

Since the blog is already forwarding to Facebook and now Medium via IFFTTT, which are the most important targets and I am unsure I want everything to go through to linkedin or even twitter, this may not be as useful as I hoped.
